Two ideas:
1-Sell to customers who want to give as a gift. Suggested expiration date of 3/31/23. Customer is paying you for this, and you will save the money until recipient redeems the gift certificate.
2-Send to good customers and hosts as an appreciation gift Suggested expiration date of 12/28/2022. This is an investment on your part. Only about 20% will actually redeem. Of those that do, they typically spend more than the value, which will give you sales IN DECEMBER. You will only earn 25% on the amount over the certificate amount, and you need to factor in your cost of the certificate. Example:
Send $10 certificate to customer (your cost is 7.50)
Customer redeems for $40 in Tupperware-$10=$30
Your profit on $30 is $7.50-cost of certificate=$0
Why do this? Sales credit toward an incentive or bonus and it creates loyalty among your VIP’s.
Here’s an example of a post I made a few years ago, and it was very successful.  There’s still time to do the 12 days of Christmas starting TODAY!
-I gave away 12-$10 gift certificates with an expiration date of the close of December. While this was an investment, it generated orders for December.
-Not everyone “redeemed” so those cost me nothing. Of those that did, they all spent more.
-it generated a lot of activity on my business page. You could also do this in your VIP page.
