This week our Legacy family was devastated by the sudden loss of one of our leaders, Diane Okubo.   For those of us that have know Diane during her 39 year career with Tupperware, it is difficult to think she is gone.

Diane had not been feeling well for several months, and was hospitalized in mid December with heart failure.  While they were hoping to perform heart surgery this week, she just was not strong enough.

Diane joined Tupperware in 1983, and was a Charter Director at Legacy, leading her Tropical Hoku Pals team to Elite level, and qualifying for several WOW trips and awards. Diane was a very loved member of the Tupperware world.  She made hundreds of friends across the country. She will be remembered for her tremendous generosity, and creativity.  Many of her friends are wearing jewelry that she created and gifted to us.  She loved to cook and shared her treats with many of her friends.

She is survived by two brothers, her mother, countless friends and her very loved pups.

Diane was featured in a monthly brochure a few years ago, and I think it speaks volumes of the difference we make when we invite someone to join Tupperware. Diane LOVED her Tupperware family and her incredible team, the Tropical Hoku Pals.
