What kind of party average do you have? There are two things that determine the sales of our parties, whether we are doing live parties or virtual parties.
- The number of people in attendance
- The sales per customer
Today we are going to address sales per customer. Our target is to make sure that we have sales of $50-$100 per customer. With 10 people in attendance, that will give you a $500-$1000 party. That level gives your host great host benefits and you a substantial profit. If you spend your time demonstrating $15-$20 items, you will have $150-$200 parties.By demonstrating products that are in the $50+ price range, that will impact your sales. Here are a few tips to help you. During EVERY party I ask customers what is their biggest concern. Pantry Organization, Freezer Organization, Making Meals in Minutes, Produce Preservation, Saving Money, Eating healthy, not enough storage space in the kitchen, eliminating single use plastics…these are just a few of the common responses. The second way to build sales is to concentrate on SET SELLING
Decide what to demonstrate
- You can choose one product line, such as Modular Mates containers
- Three different groups of products that work well together and function as sets,
- •Sets that are shown in the Catalog/brochures
If you choose to demonstrate one product line (Modular mates, Vent ‘n Serve, FridgeSmart)
- Determine three sets with varying price points $50, $75, and $100
- Three price points give your customers a choice; research shows that when shoppers are offered a small, medium and large set in one product line, the majority will buy the medium.
- If your medium set is priced at $75, your average sale per customer will increase.
You could also do a Girlfriend set, which means that you encourage them to split with a friend• Encourage them to find a friend NOT at the party.
If you choose to demonstrate three different groups of products
- Creating your sets so they have approximately the same price.
- Create sets that do two things:
- meet the needs of your customers, and
- have a price point that maximizes your business. ($50+)
Give each set a name
- Names can be as simple as the Small Set, Medium Set, and Large Set.
- Or, you can be clever and name each set with a catchy name like “Beginners Set”, “Getting it Together Set”, and “Got to Have it All Set.”
- Makes it easier for your customers to order.
- YOU will need to order items individually
When you demonstrate higher ticket items like the premium products or the catalog sets, not only will you build your sales, but you will build your datings. There is a higher probability that customers will want one of these items, but not want to pay full price for it. Enter the host program. This gives them an opportunity to choose up to three times at HALF PRICE and to earn host credits to shop for FREE!
